MID-ATLANTIC SONG CONTEST (MASC) AWARDS GALA
Among other winners of this year's competition, Carey will perform her winning lullaby at the big Gala. Jody Marshall will sprinkle her hammered dulcimer magic throughout the song, as well. The lullaby, which is on Carey’s Peace of Wild Things CD, won Silver in the Children's category, and will be included on MASC’S upcoming compilation CD.

SERIES OF MOSAIC HARMONY CONCERTS
As a special guest of the uplifting, fun community interfaith gospel choir, Mosaic Harmony, Carey will perform two songs, one of them being “Be Still” by Andrea Glenn. (Carey sang this great song a few years ago as part of a MoHa CD recorded live in concert). The “Partners in Harmony” concerts, identical in content, are being held on three dates at three locations to raise funds which enable MoHa to inspire many people – their mission is “service through song.”

CMR ANNUAL INTERFAITH THANKSGIVING SERVICE
Community Ministries of Rockville will celebrate another year of joining together to help under-served people in the City. The service is an evening of thanks-giving and inspirational music by people from member congregations, including a solo by Carey. One annual highlight is the bright spirits of CMR’s Latino Children’s Chorus, and another is a massed choir singing selections from various cultures and faith traditions, such as Latino, African-American, Hebrew, Protestants, Catholics, etc.

Jody Marshall, Paul Nahay, and Carey will offer a musical holiday show at an intimate and friendly home venue. (The concert will be preceded by a yummy potluck and a chance to jam!) Jody will be celebrating the release of her new holiday CD which has gorgeous and clever instrumentals as well as her cute original songs and parodies.
